To paraphrase the famous line, "Love means never having to say you're sorry.....even if you give your wife a jeep tour on Valentine's Day." Luckily, I didn't have to apologize because Mary loved it as much as getting flowers. Maybe.
We were in Sedona, Arizona, in February 2017. We had an afternoon to celebrate Valentine's Day. I was out of ideas until I saw a sign advertising exciting off-road tours through the hills and valleys surrounding Sedona. As I told her, at least the jeeps are PINK!
It was a teeth-rattling ride through the beautiful back country through Sedona's Red Rocks. We enjoyed it so much that we took another Pink Jeep Tour when we returned to Sedona a year later. This one took us off roads to see the ancient Honanki Cliff Dwellings in Coconino National Forest.
