Technically, they walked onto a bar -- a sand bar, but it still sounds like the beginning of a bad joke. We knew something funny was going on when a boat filled with dogs and two persons moored on a narrow strip of sand in the middle of Sarasota Bay in 2019.
The dogs jumped out because they knew this wasn't going to be a boring walk in the dog park. Two handlers kept a close eye as they ran and swam for a good half hour.
